#seven wives, seventy children #

Today, many have deviated from the primitive occupations that demanded that they should marry many wives and give birth to many children to help them manually in their businesses. But despicably, the ideology of marrying up seven to ten wives has not been totally thrown away. In most part of Nigeria a man is known to have noting less than twenty children! Since farming manually is no longer been practiced, the children would be found scattered all over the streets idle, thinking of criminal acts. In most cases it becomes difficult for a father of noting less than thirty children to recognize his children when he comes across them outside. The question I keep asking myself is why should a man who knows perfectly that his job cannot sustain himself, a wife and four children, marry up seven wives and end up having seventy children?
